Anxiety and worry

When your mind won’t switch off, or your body is on alert for no clear reason.

A calm, pale sea meeting a soft sky

What it can feel like

A racing heart before a meeting. Lying awake replaying a conversation. Avoiding things you used to enjoy because the worry gets there first. Anxiety shows up differently for everyone, and it often makes sense once you start to look at it.

How talking can help

Sessions give you space to notice what sets the worry off and what keeps it going. Some people want practical tools to calm their body down; others want to understand where the anxiety comes from. Most want a bit of both, and we’ll work out together what’s useful for you.

What sessions are like

We meet weekly, in person or online, for 50 minutes. You don’t need to arrive with anything prepared. If you’d like structured CBT, Megan works that way; Helen uses a broader mix.
