← What we help with

Low mood

Feeling flat, tired or far away from yourself, for longer than feels right.

What it can feel like

Everything takes more effort than it should. You might sleep too much or not enough, lose interest in people, or feel numb rather than sad. It can creep up slowly, so it’s often a friend or partner who notices first.

How talking can help

Counselling won’t hand you a fix, but it gives you an hour a week that is just for you. Many people find that saying things out loud, to someone outside their life, takes some of the weight off and helps them see what might change.

A note on your GP

If your low mood has gone on for a while, it’s worth talking to your GP as well. Counselling and medical support can work side by side, and we’re happy to talk about how.
